Some argue that orbs are nothing more than dust particles in the camera. Others say, “No, way. They’re spirits.” I’d like to believe they’re spirits. Why? Because I captured some orbs.
On my recent Grand Mediterranean Cruise (May-June 2009,) my husband and I visited several cathedrals, basillicas, and churches. I took pictures inside and outside of each of those places. Only two churches, both in Barcelona, Spain, contain orbs, and both are inside pictures. None of the outside pictures contain orbs. I'd like to invite you to take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. But first the facts.
Two of the places we visited in Barcelona were the Capella de Santa Agata and the Catedral de Barcelona. As soon as we stepped inside the churches, Rich and I were awed by the beauty and grandeur of these ancient Catholic churches.
Like everyone else, Rich and I snapped picture after picture. He stood beside me and pointed at something unique and...

Tell Me Six Things About You and Your Books
Okay, here it goes.
1. This month I'm getting ready to attend my 40th (!!!!!) high school reunion. The speed of time always amazes me. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my old friends and making the acquaintance of the others. In a sense, I'm lucky. I still keep in touch with my high school group. I would like my first blog entry to be a thank you to all of my friends I’ve met through writing. The nicest part of being an author is the role each of you has played in my life. As an author, I have been able to connect with people I would never have met otherwise. It has been a joy getting to know all of you. It doesn’t matter if you’re fellow authors, readers, booksellers, reviewers, or any others who make up this wonderful, crazy world of writing. Thank you very much for your support.
Something magical pops up when I travel and know there’ll be people to visit along the way. Sometimes we share a meal together. Other times, we’re there for a longer stay. Some of my best memories include spending time with my friends in Alaska or Hawaii or California, Kentucky, Florida, Wisconsin . . . the list goes on and on.
The most unique thing about the mystery world is that it’s made up of some of the nicest and caring people. When one of us is down, we reach out and indelibly someone is always willing to help. This reminds me...
